One of those extraordinary places, Tibet, offers thrills at every turn! The stunning Trans-Himalayan drive across the mountain passes never lacks in adventure, and it promises an unparalleled array of natural and cultural diversity. The Buddhist monasteries of Drepung, which were once the biggest in the nation and are a genuine treasure trove of architectural marvels, are where it all comes to a head on a parched plateau. The beautiful palaces of the Dalai Lama, the Norbulingka (summer palace), and the Potala, as well as the Jokhang, a spiritual center (traditional seat). It is a transition into another way of life to travel for days on this distant plateau and come across nomads leading their flocks of sheep or yaks. We go from Kathmandu to Lhasa on a scheduled flight to start the vacation. The daily schedule is described as follows:

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu to Lhasa

Drive 96 kilometers to Lhasa city after taking a China Airlines aircraft to Lhasa's airport (Gonkar). Mountain ranges including Mt. Kanchenjunga (8586 m/28,169 ft), Mt. Everest (8848 m/29,028 ft), Mt. Makalu (8463 m/27,766 ft), and others will be visible from the air.


Day 2 : Visit Jokhang temple, Norbulingka, and Drepung monastery.


Day 3 : Visit the Sera Monastery and the Potala Palace.


Day 4 : From Lhasa, travel 96 kilometers to the Gonkar airport, then take a flight to Kathmandu.
